bullet Christine A. Lee
Principal - Trinity Lutheran School

Christine is a native of Sioux City, Iowa. She and her husband Robert have lived in several states. Robert is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. They have two grown sons; Aaron & Joshua.

This is Christine’s fourth year as principal at Trinity Lutheran School. In 1993, she obtained a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from New Mexico State University. She also has a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Iowa. Her work experience includes eight years experience working in crisis centers in four states. She has administrative experience working in non-profit corporations. She has been an active member of Trinity Lutheran since joining in 1993. She has been involved in Sunday School, LWML, and the school.

bullet Michelle Finch
Pre-K Teacher - Trinity Lutheran School

Michelle Finch has been at Trinity for five years. In that time, she has been the aide for pre-k4 working alongside Mrs. Baker, the current kindergarten teacher. Michelle is now in her second year as lead teacher in the pre-k4 classroom. Michelle is in the latter half of the process for obtaining her CDA.

Michelle has been married to her husband Alan for eight years. They have two children, Brantley (age 7), a first grader, and Olivia (age 6) a kindergartener at Katherine I. Daily The Finches are members of CrossPointe Church in Norman.

bullet Cyndy Baker
Kindergarten Teacher - Trinity Lutheran School

Mrs. Baker is in her fifth year of teaching at Trinity Lutheran School. Her experience in teaching spans ten years. She is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. After graduating from college, Cyndy moved from Norman to Pensacola, Florida, where her husband went through Navy Flight School. From Pensacola, Cyndy and her family moved to Washington where she was the director and teacher of a local preschool. She made her way back to Norman after her husband got out of the Navy.

Cyndy has been married to her husband, Daniel, for eleven years. They are members of First Presbyterian Church of Norman. They have three children; Kyle a sixth grader at Irving Middle School, Alexandra is a 2nd grade student at Madison, and Keith, their three year old, is at Trinity.

bullet Julie Knight
1st & 2nd Grade Teacher - Trinity Lutheran School

Julie Knight is starting her third year at Trinity Lutheran School, teaching first and second grade. She was born and raised in Norman and graduated from Norman High School in 1990. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma. She is certified to teach grades 1-8 with a language arts endorsement. This will be Julie’s seventh year teaching first and second grade.

Julie has been married for nine years to her husband, Lance. They have two children, Nathan (age 7) and Lauren (age 3). They attend Journey Church in Norman. She enjoys spending time with her family, scrap-booking, and watching the Oklahoma Sooners.

Cheryl Anderson
3rd & 4th Grade Teacher - Trinity Lutheran School

Cheryl has been with Trinity for nine years as the 3rd/4th grade teacher. She was born in Norman and attended school here, graduating from Norman High School in 1975. She graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in music. This year Mrs. Anderson is teaching the 4th/5th grade class.

Cheryl has been married for 31 years to her husband, Kenneth. Her son, Justin, is in his senior year at OU, while her daughter, Jessica, is a freshman at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida.

An active member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Cheryl serves as the Children’s Department Director, and plays the organ and piano when needed. She is a member of Women of Faith, the Disabled Veterans of America Auxiliary, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Cheryl has made two summer mission trips to work on a World Changers construction crew with the youth group of her church.
